Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor customer accounts by sending monthly statements, following up on overdue payments, and resolving any billing issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers through phone, email, and written correspondence to request payment, discuss terms, and agree on suitable repayment plans when needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external parties, such as solicitors, to resolve outstanding debts, escalate complex issues, and support legal processes when required.
- Prepare and maintain regular reports on aged debt, account status, and payment trends, supporting the finance and projects teams to improve cash flow and account management.
- Experience of working in a similar Credit Control role.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of pursuing unpaid debts through small claims court. (Desirable)
