Churches Fire has a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the Country. Due to our expanding team and client base, we are now seeking a Mechanical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end process for sprinkler system projects, including overseeing design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes of practice, and health and safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
  • Conduct risk assessments and proactively resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control, reporting on financial status and performance to senior management.
  • Ensure that all documentation, including project reports, certifications, and compliance paperwork, is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management within the sprinkler industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sprinkler system design, installation, and commissioning processes.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant fire safety regulations, codes, and industry standards (such as NFPA, BS EN, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel as required.
